iPod Classic,
reborn on SSD

Most "dead" iPod Classics aren't dead — their spinning hard drives are. We replace failing HDDs with solid-state storage, fit fresh batteries and screens, and send back a player that boots in seconds and runs for hours. 60-day warranty on every job.

WHY IPODS FAIL — AND WHY SSD FIXES IT

The spinning-disk
problem

Sad-face / folder icon

The classic death screen. Nine times out of ten it's the mechanical hard drive failing — heads, bearings or 4K-sector mismatches on replacement drives. An SSD conversion eliminates the failure point entirely.

Slow boots, skipping tracks

A struggling HDD makes the whole iPod feel broken. Solid-state storage boots in around two seconds, never skips, and survives drops that would kill a spinning disk.

Battery drains in an hour

Original cells are 15+ years old — and a dying HDD drains them faster. New battery plus SSD together typically double or triple real-world playback time.

Cracked screen or dead pixels

We fit fresh LCDs for Classic 5G, 6G and 7G, tested for dead pixels and backlight bleed before QC.

Unresponsive click wheel

Worn or liquid-damaged click wheels stop registering. Replacement restores that satisfying original scroll.

Scratched, dented back shell

New rear shells bring back the mirror finish — a favourite finishing touch on sentimental restorations.

IPOD FAQ

iPod-specific
questions

Will my music survive the SSD upgrade?

If the old drive is readable we can usually migrate your library. If it's fully dead, you'll restore from iTunes/Finder after the upgrade. Tell us on WhatsApp if the library matters and we'll attempt recovery first.

Can I go bigger than 128GB?

Yes — larger capacities are possible depending on your model and budget. Message us for current options and pricing (a customer favourite is the 256GB build).

Which generations do you support?

iPod Classic 5th, 6th and 7th generation are our specialities. For iPod Video, Mini, Nano and other models, send a photo on WhatsApp and we'll confirm.

Is an SSD really better than just replacing the hard drive?

An OEM HDD swap (₹1,600) is the budget fix, but it's still a 15-year-old mechanical design. SSD costs more upfront and removes the single most common failure point while improving speed and battery life — which is why we call it the best-value long-term option. Read our full SSD upgrade guide.
